South Dakota Parent Connection
This is a resource for families who have children with a type of disability. The goal is to connect families caring for children with a disabilities or any special health care need to be informed, trained and have resources for the child's disability.
This is an organization to protect and advocate the rights of South Dakotans with disabilities through legal, administrative, and other remedies. Many people with disabilities do not know their legal rights and this website is here to help.
This facility is to provide opportunities for individuals to achieve their full potential; and promoting healthy families and safe communities by ensuring quality, cost-effective and comprehensive services are provided in cooperation with our partners.
South Dakota Parent Resource Network
This program is around to support parent involvement in the development of their child and their child's education. There is information on this site for workshops and classes that parents can take to help involve them in theirs child's education.
South Dakota Department of Education
This organization has resources and services that directly impact children and their parents. This site also contains links and documentation for parents to review so they know their rights as a parent with a student in school.
Children's Care Hospital and School
This is a place where children who have special needs but are not able to be in a public school can come to get an education and proper medical treatment if needed. They offer a broad continuum of healthcare and educational services for children from birth through age 21.
